 My Journey Begins Today

Coffee from my Starbucks cup + Wisdom = A great way to start the day.

My journey begins today says my cup.

Y:  You make choices today that will determine your future.

J:  Joyful is the day as the sun rises.

O:  Open your mind to the newness each day brings.

U:  Uncover your hidden talents.

R:  Responsibility for your journey starts with you.

N:  New is each day.  Try something different.

E:  Every day is an opportunity to start with a clean slate.
Y: Yesterday is gone, tomorrow is, well, tomorrow.  Now is now.

B:  Believe that each day brings new opportunities.

E:  Energy feeds each day.

G:  Go for it.

I:  Ignite your journey today by taking one step.

N:  Never forget that your journey starts today, no matter what  happened yesterday.

S:  Share your gifts along the way.  What you give returns to you tenfold.

T: Today's actions will shape your future.

O:  One must journey with confidence.

D:  Daily habits will determine the success of your journey.

A:  Attitude is critical.  Keep it positive.

Y:  You can make a difference every day.

"This is the beginning of a new day.  You have been given this day to use as you will.  You can waste it or use it for good.  What you do today is important because you are exchanging a day of your life for it.  When tomorrow comes, this day will be gone forever; in its place is something you have left behind...let it be something good."

"This bright, new day ... complete with 24 hours of opportunities, choices, and attitudes ... a perfectly matched set of 1440 minutes. This unique gift, this one day, cannot be exchanged, replaced, or refunded.  Handle with care.  Make the most of it.  There is only one to a customer."

"With the new day comes new strength and new thoughts."

When you roll out of bed every morning, how do you view the day?  Is it with dread, anticipation, worry, or exhilaration?  What adjectives describe your thoughts?  The promise of a new day greets every one of us.  What you do with the day is up to you.  I've been making a concerted effort to make each day count along my journey.  You can too.

I had a great time with Valerie inFloridalast week.  Fortunately I left before the winds and the rain came, althoughTampawas spared the worst.  We ate well, shopped, and played. Disneyworldwas just as much fun as I remember and who isn't dazzled by "It's a Small World After All".  The La Nouba Cirque du Soleil performance was spectacular. Check it out when you're inOrlando.

Monday, August 25th was my 29 year wedding anniversary.  The years have flown by.  One of my speaking topics for the Florida National Dental Convention next June is "So, You're Married to a Dentist".  That will be interesting!  (John is also a dentist.)  Contact me if you are a dental wife who would like to be interviewed to add fuel to my presentation.

Have a fantastic week and make today count.

Stephanie
