It's Up to You

"It's Up To Me"

"I get discouraged now and then

When there are clouds of gray,

Until I think about the things

That happened yesterday.

I do not mean the day before

Or those of months ago,

But all the yesterdays in which

I had the chance to grow.

I think of opportunities

That I allowed to die,

And those I took advantage of

Before they passed me by.

And I remember that the past

Presented quite a plight,

But somehow I endured it and

The future seemed all right.

And I remind myself that I

Am capable and free,

And my success and happiness

Are really up to me."

James J. Metcalfe

A gentle reminder of the power within you, because it really is up to you.

"Some folks go through life pleased that the glass if half full.  Others spend a lifetime lamenting that it's half-empty.  The truth is: There is a glass with a certain volume of liquid in it.  From there, it's up to you!"

            Dr. James S. Vuocolo

"While we may not be able to control all that happens to us, we can control what happens inside us."

            Benjamin Franklin

"Time flies. It's up to you to be the navigator."

            Robert Orben

"You are only one inch ... one step ... one idea ... away from turning onto the boulevard of beauty of your own life."

            Bob Proctor

Lots of yesterdays have passed in my life, as they have in yours. Opportunities appeared, some taken and some ignored.  Mishaps, hardships, success, and even wild success were all found in those yesterdays.  What do you see when you reflect back?  Did you make the most of those experiences as opportunities for growth and learning? Why?  Because ...

Tomorrows will unfold. New opportunities will arise and we must be receptive. What will they bring for me and you?  Ah yes, the answer is really up to me, and you.

Have a fantastic week and remember that it's up to you.

Stephanie
